The line before the mirror is a visual book constructed as a continuous sequence of images.
It does not recount a story in the classical sense. It proposes a journey. A displacement where the line does not represent, but rather acts. Where each image does not conclude, but rather opens.
The piece is sustained by repetition, variation, and the limit. At that point where form ceases to be merely form and begins to organise an experience.
It forms part of my research into Structural Surplus, where the work is not exhausted by its medium, but rather unfolds as a system and as a relationship.
