The second edition of 'Talento Artístico: Comunidad creativa inclusiva', promoted by Fundación Eurocaja Rural and Plena inclusión España, funds four projects with 3,000 euros each. The deadline is 19 November 2026. This call is directed at social entities, not individual artists, although it does accept projects from artists with disabilities supported by an entity.
The grant may support painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, video, illustration, theatre, dance, performance, music, poetry, narrative, or scriptwriting. Projects in development or already underway are sought, not necessarily proposals conceived from scratch. The total endowment is 12,000 euros.
Verify first whether the entity is eligible to apply
The entity must be non-profit, carry out social action, have its registered office and registration in Spain, and work towards the social, educational, professional, or cultural inclusion of persons with disabilities. It must also be up to date with the Tax Agency and Social Security and execute the project entirely in Spain. Each entity may submit up to three proposals.
An artist cannot request the grant in their own name. They require an entity to endorse the project and assume the candidacy. Such endorsement should not erase authorship nor automatically convert the entity into the owner of the work.
What can be funded
The grant may cover the project in full or in part. Public information excludes ordinary headquarters maintenance expenses, team per diems and accommodation, debts, and amortisations. Before constructing the budget, it is advisable to consult the full terms and conditions and the application guide, as a proposal may be artistically sound yet weakened by ineligible or poorly justified expenses.
A budget of 3,000 euros necessitates prioritisation. Separate materials, artistic fees, accessibility, production, insurance, transport, documentation, and communication. Do not present work upon which the project depends as voluntary. If the amount does not allow for full coverage, define a feasible phase.
How to turn the criteria into a proposal
The application form must allow for the recognition of artistic quality, participation of persons with disabilities, equality, autonomy, accessibility, environmental sustainability, innovation, social impact, viability, and respect for fundamental rights. Repeating these terms is insufficient.
Explain what decisions the participants make, what tasks they perform, how authorship is recognised, what barriers the design eliminates, and what artistic result will be produced. Distinguish participation from presence. A project is not inclusive because it includes many people if the decisions, the signature, and the remuneration remain beyond their reach.
Accessibility must appear in the methodology and the budget: easy-to-read formats, cognitive supports, interpretation, accessible transport, personal assistance, rest periods, or adaptation of the space according to actual needs. The call provides materials in easy-to-read format, but that does not replace the accessibility of the project itself.
Authorship, rights, and remuneration
Before submitting the application, put the following in writing:
- Who creates each work and how authorship will be credited.
- What rights each artist retains.
- What uses the entity may make of images, recordings, and works.
- Whether there will be an exhibition, publication, or digital dissemination.
- For how long these uses are authorised.
- What remuneration each person will receive for their artistic work.
- Who will retain the works and archives upon completion.
Disability does not alter the status of an author. If a person creates an original work, the starting point is to recognise them as the author. Supports for decision-making or communication do not replace their will.
