A vertical painting dominated by a large, near-circular black mass, dense and textured, which occupies a significant portion of the canvas and evokes the lunar disc during a total eclipse. Along the right edge, a curved strip of golden and whitish light emerges, fragmented and rugged, descending until it dissipates into small glimmers. The background, dark yet not entirely black, displays bluish and greyish glazes towards the right. The paint application creates furrows, fissures, and organic strokes that envelop the central form like bark.
